It’s safe to say that our Summer season is now over, but before we look ahead at all that’s to come in the latter stages of the year, let’s reminisce on what has been a wonderful season across Merton.

This Summer, we invited young people between the ages of 4-18 to send us drawings, paintings and written pieces of their Summer in Merton experiences for a chance to win a handful of fantastic prizes from some much-loved local businesses.

We received entries from across the borough and would like to thank everyone that entered, participated and helped to spread the word. From paintings, to drawings, to poems, all entries that we received had a lovely story behind them which made running this competition even more enjoyable. The winners have already been contacted and their prizes are on the way. Take a look at this year’s Summer in Merton competition winning entries below!
