With the nation in lock-down, and many in self-isolation, it has become increasingly important to stay active@home as part of our daily routines.

People of all ages and ability benefit from exercise, no matter how gentle or vigorous, as it can help maintain physical and mental well-being during these challenging times.

Today we are lucky to have an amazing choice of free online resources at our disposal which can help us stay active@home.  Below you find some links to a number of sites that we found to have some excellent workouts on offer.  We will do the research and add more to this over the coming days and weeks, but please email us your suggestions and weblinks, too.  MAILTO:GENERAL@WIMBLEDONCOMMUNITY.ORG.

In addition, a growing number of Merton’s local fitness instructors are sharing their own videos on their websites and social media channels.   We have teamed up with Caroline Pitt and Jacqui Sechiari who are bringing you a series of exercise & Yoga videos with easy-to-follow @home work-out routines that are suitable for most people and can be done in the smallest of spaces.

Have fun exercising and keep visiting this page as we are adding more videos every week!
