Weʼre raising £1,000 to help fund the redevelopment of our online hub and the overall continuation of our work in Merton.
Wimbledon Community Association has been in operation since 1946. That’s 76 years!
And we intend to keep it running for much, much longer.
Since 2012, and the closure of our Community Centre, we have run this charity entirely online, developing an online hub from which we based all of our communications and promotions of local events, opportunities and spaces around Merton that would in some way help and contribute to the Merton Community – bringing people together; connecting people, places and passions.
14 years on, our website, which was launched in 2016, is in need of an update. A complete re-haul on design and streamlining in terms of usability and clarity. We want our online hub to be clear and easy to use for all of our members and community users.
As we’re run by a small team of volunteer trustees, one part time staff member and a part time freelancer, this project will need a little help from our community to be able to get this off the ground.
