We are delighted to confirm the line-up for our panel discussion on the subject of: ‘What function should community space play in the future of Wimbledon?’
Our esteemed panellists will be Tony Kane (Founder / Editor-at-Large, Time and Leisure), Anthony Hopkins (Head of Library, Heritage & Adult Education Service, Merton Council), Helen Clark-Bell (Chief Executive, Love Wimbledon) and Beau Fadahunsi (Head of Development and Funding Advice, MVSC). It will be facilitated and chaired by David Hall, Chair of Wimbledon Community Association. Contributions and questions will be open from the audience. We hope that the debate will help inform future discussions on Wimbledon Town Centre.
The event is free and open to representatives from the various venues who have registered on our website, any of our former users/members of the old site in St. Georges Road, and other invitees. Other members of the public are welcome to attend the Panel Discussion subject to availability of places. Please contact us directly using our contact form.
We have now decided to open up the event to the wider community and people will be able to attend and register on the night subject to a cap on numbers.
Further details will be published on this site and on FB and Twitter.
