Wimbledon Community Association’s Chair – David Hall, and one of our Trustees – Jackie Chapman, attended the 2025 AGM for Merton Connected.
Here is the follow up from the Merton Connected Team & Board of Trustees following the AGM and Strategy Launch:
It was a really positive moment to come together with our members, partners and community organisations to reflect on the year gone by and look ahead to what comes next for Merton’s voluntary, community and social enterprise sector.
At the AGM, we were proud to officially launch our new Merton Connected Strategy. Shaped by listening, collaboration and a shared commitment to stronger, more connected communities, the strategy sets out how we will continue to support, amplify and champion our sector across the borough over the coming years. You can read the full strategy here.
We would also like to extend our sincere thanks once again to one of our trustees, Wendy Pridmore, who stepped down at the AGM. Her commitment, insight and dedication have played an important role in strengthening Merton Connected’s governance and impact, and we are very grateful for the time, care and expertise she has given since joining in 2019.
As always, thank you for being part of the Merton Connected community. We look forward to working alongside you as we bring the strategy to life together.
