Community Bytes, End of 2019 Edition

In this end of year edition of Community Bytes, we reflect on 2019 and continue to celebrate everything from our borough’s creativity to new multisensory children’s libraries with our Merry Merton advent calendar! Can’t wait to see what we have featured, click here to start reading.

For this special edition, we caught up with two of our listed venues – the New Horizon Centre (more specifically the Commonside Trust) in Mitcham, and Everyday Church in Wimbledon – to find out about all of the great things that have been happening throughout the year at different sides of the borough. For our Wimblecomm spotlight, we caught up with small independent community project Fayre & Square, and we featured a review of the Twelfth Night production by Carlton Theatre Group at the Colour House Theatre. We even managed to provide you with a round up of our charity’s 2019 with a review from our Chair, David Hall. As always, the content continues on our blog so be sure to keep an eye on our website for updates in between these newsletters.

We do hope you enjoy reading this edition of Community Bytes, and encourage you to connect with us on social media to stay updated on all Wimblecomm matters. If you would like to receive future editions straight to your inbox, make sure you visit us at Wimblecomm and subscribe.
