Merton Mutual Aid is a local informal, non-political community network of ‘neighbours helping neighbours’. A grassroots community network supporting vulnerable Merton residents during the COVID-19 crisis, they are not a formal volunteering organisation but work through self-organisation and encourage people to contribute, and take responsibility and action for their community.
If you need support, please fill out a form at www.mertonmutualaid.net/help and they will do their best to help you. Please visit their website which has details on how you can volunteer in your local community: https://mertonmutualaid.net/volunteer. You can also connect with them on Facebook and Twitter.
The Merton Mutual Aid Group Want to Hear From You
Having set up this amazing support network across all 16 wards in Merton and helped countless Merton residents and other voluntary organisations, the group is currently looking for feedback from volunteers and the community. Founding Member Zak Dada writes:
Thank you for being with us at Merton Mutual Aid through the lockdown. We are considering what the future holds for the group, and it will be helpful if you could fill out this survey to help us understand future availability and interest of the community.
Please help the group by sharing your views on their community survey which you can access here. Thank you for sharing your views and help this group shape their future.
