We are looking for friendly, flexible people who love helping others, to join our small team. As a theatre for children, it is particularly vital that our audiences have the best first experience of theatre.
This is a casual worker, hourly-rate contract. Shifts are mainly daytime and importantly include Saturdays and Sundays. Salary is £13.15 per hour plus holiday pay, to start as soon as possible.
This is the role for you if you:
• Would like to work for a pioneering national theatre for children.
• Have a passion for delivering exceptional customer service.
• Are available at weekends and weekdays (mostly daytime) for casual work.
What would you be doing?
You will be a member of the team of Attendants that make up the core of our Visitor Services team. You will embody the ethos of Polka, working proactively to maintain a professional, welcoming, and safe environment for our visitors and team members. You will provide guidance and support to our team of Polka Volunteers. Often the first point of contact with our audience members and visitors, your role at Polka is vital in delivering the exemplary service that has made Polka the beloved and trusted company it is. You may be working in the theatre, shop and/or cafe, ensuring quality of service across all public areas, as these are all important parts of our visitors’ experience.
