Spring is around the corner! It’s the perfect time to get outside and start growing.
If you are aged 18-30; or over 55, join Sustainable Merton at Mitcham Community Orchard for a series of workshops, in partnership with Clarion Housing, where you can learn to grow your own food and share your favourite dishes over lunch.
Growing for Good is a series of 10 workshops aimed at bringing together young people aged 18-30 who want to learn about food growing with people over 55 who would like to share their knowledge of growing and cooking (or even just learning about growing themselves!).
Our experienced trainer will lead the workshops, which will take place monthly on Fridays between 11am and 2pm at Mitcham Community Orchard and Gardens, starting on 25 February. The last hour will be spent sharing food and cooking together.
Information about the project can be found on the flyer and our event page.
