An Update from the Team @Abundance Wimbledon
(Our Newest Community Group Member)
We’ve had another fruity summer – a big thank you for all your wonderful support! If you still have lots of fruit in your garden and can’t use it all, then please get in touch with Abundance Wimbledon. We can pick and collect fruit and pass it on to others to make jam, juice or puddings. Some of it will go to local charities providing food for the homeless and elderly or those impacted by the Covid-19 pandemic e.g. Wimbledon Guild, Regenerate, Foodbank and the Dons Local Action Group.
Last year was a good year for fruit – we collected and distributed nearly 2 tonnes! We want to thank everyone who helped us with this huge task and are excited (given the wet May) for a bumper year in 2021!
To donate your fruit this year, find out more or if you’d like to help in any way, please contact abundancewimbledon@gmail.com or tel. Juliet 8946 2514.
