An unspoilt village and village green, Kew has more blue plaques and famous and royal residents than you can throw a Who’s
Who at.
There will be a delightful Thames-side stroll and we will hear about Kew’s beginnings as a fishing village, with the entertaining and informative guide, Paul Baker, City of London guide.
We meet outside Kew Gardens tube station, Royal Botanic Gardens exit. The walk lasts two hours and finishes back at the station.
