The Young Writers Competition 2025 is open!
This year, we are inspired by history, storytelling and trailblazers, and our theme is The Legend.
Our annual writing competition is open to all students across Surrey and South London. Winning entries will have their work published in our 2025 Anthology, and one lucky winner will have the chance to win an iPad!
Creative writing is hugely important for children – as well as helping them develop critical literacy skills, it allows them to be creative express themselves and can contribute to higher mental and emotional wellbeing.
Entries must be submitted through schools.
