Do you love Shakespeare? Or are you intimidated by the language?
Do you struggle to understand what’s going on? Or does the language make your spirit fly?
Whoever you are; this course is for you.
Susie has adapted many of Shakespeare’s plays to retain the beauty of the language but make them manageable. She has studied, directed and acted in Shakespeare and is eager to share her joy with you.
The Shakespeare workshops will get the words working and moving.
Shakespeare had a group of actors waiting for his words, and crowds keen to watch. He didn’t write them to be studied so we, like his actors, will take the words and unwrap how he guides us (in verse and meter and rhyme etc) as we go.
Starting small you can then dream big about what you’ll share with a select audience at the end of the workshops.
Everyone is warmly welcomed to join the fun.
8 week course £96 (No class on 27th Oct – half term)
