The Merton Interfaith Walk is a 5K sponsored walk for the Merton Homeless Project ‘Faith in Action’.
It will link The Fazi London Mosque, Wimbledon Synagogue, Buddhapadipa Temple, St Mary’s (C of E) church, Shree Ghanapathy Hindu Temple and more.
The walk will take place on Saturday 13th April 2024, at 11.a.m. The meeting place is Wimbledon Train Station.
Your guides will be Richard Smart, Blue Badge Guide, and PC Suzanne D’Cruze, FAITH Engagement Officer.

The Route
Anyone is welcome to join us for all or part of the walk. The timings below are a provisional guide.
11.00am: Start at Wimbledon Station with short Tube ride to Southfields (District Line)
12.00pm: Fazl Mosque on Gressenhall Road
12.30pm: Wimbledon Synagogue on Queensmere Road
1.30pm: Buddhapadipa Thai Buddhist Temple on Calonne Road
2.30pm: St. Mary’s (C of E) Church on St Mary’s Road
3.00pm: Shree Ghanapathy Hindu Temple on Effra Road
To Note
- Children are welcome if accompanied by an adult.
- Respectful clothing should be worn and footwear will need to be removed at some religious buildings.
