WiGS* is delighted to be hosting a recital by Jack Hancher on Friday 3rd October, with doors opening at 7pm for a 7.30pm start, finishing around 9.30pm.
Described by Gramophone Magazine as a guitarist with “youthful intensity tempered by sophisticated musical intelligence” Jack Hancher is a rising star of the classical guitar. The programme will feature pieces from his debut CD, ‘The Memory Garden’, alongside works by Debussy, Ravel and Satie.

* WiGS is the Wimbledon classical Guitar Society: https://www.wigsguitar.com/, a group of amateur classical guitar players in South West London that meets regularly to give each other a chance to play in front of others. Some of us are preparing for exams, some want to be better at performing and some just love listening to guitar music and talking with other people who share the interest. Please contact us if that sounds like something you would enjoy.
