Join us at the Wimbledon Windmill on Sunday Sept 14th when you come to enjoy the Commons Open Day – we will have Cookery Demonstrations, local milled flour and special guests to welcome you and show you round the Windmill.
As part of the Mayors Community Weekend our friends from Community Chef will be with us again to showcase the wonderful African recipes to jazz up your flatbreads. Cookery demonstrations at 11am, 12.30, 1,45 and 3pm – different recipes – and the best bit? Taste and sample each one! And it’s all FREE. We’ll also have local milled flour from Brixton Windmill available for sale and special guests to Welcome and show you around the Windmill.
Since 2001, Community Chef has helped thousands of people to improve their cookery and nutrition skills. They use food and cookery as tools for developing communities while promoting health and wellness.
