For our Summer “Emerging Artists” concert, WiGS is delighted to be hosting Vona Duo (Hope Cramsie and Ingrid Horvei Lyslo), who will play the first half, and Zoe Barnett (solo guitar) who will play the second half.
Both Hope and Zoe are Masters graduates from the Royal College of Music, and have played WiGS Conservatoire series concerts at St Saviour’s. Both are now active in our Advanced Performance Classes, so you may have been lucky enough to see them preparing repertoire for this concert in those classes.
This concert will be on Friday 5th June, with the doors opening at 7pm for a 7.30pm start, finishing around 9.30pm, and with our usual wine and soft drinks bar. Please email if you have any queries.
“It is a real treat to be able to come to the local church and see great players up close putting on such a fantastic show. People would normally have to travel miles to see such concerts and then be sitting so far back as to not see much. We have been so lucky to have so many great musicians playing for us just feet away at your concerts.” a regular WiGS audience member.
