Join Merton Library’s friendly volunteer Zoe for a chat about all things books and reading.
Join our friendly volunteer Zoe for a chat about all things books and reading. It will be a relaxed and informal conversation, a way to connect with others whilst having a cup of tea at home. These sessions will be fortnightly on Monday at 7pm.
Local and Community History Month: A Celebration of Merton and London Through Literature
Local and Community History Month was created by the Historical Association to encourage people to learn about and engage with the history and heritage of their community from stories to architecture and more. Join our Reading Friends group as we discover how our local history has been documented and represented in literature fact or fiction. This will be followed by a discussion/debate about the need for accuracy in Historical fiction. Please bring along any examples and ideas to share with the group.
