This August, Radio Local will be coming to Merton to host a series of workshops with children aged 8+ who will be invited to create their own segment of a radio show.
The children won’t need to leave their homes, as this will be a fully virtual experience conducted via Zoom.
The sessions will include DJing, Co-hosting, Banter, News, Jingle making, Interviews and Games. In these sessions, the children will be creating the content that is included in the live broadcast giving them the chance to hear their own voices on the radio.
How long are the sessions?
There will either be 4x 2hr sessions or 2x 6hr sessions
Who can apply?
The workshops are suitable for ages 8yrs+, and will be suited to a specific youth group, or local kids in Merton who want to get involved.
There are only 6-10 spaces available, so get in touch to secure your space ASAP!
