Dons Local Action Group
A local network of volunteers formed in response to the COVID-19 crisis and now permanent across Merton, Wandsworth and Kingston. Their aim is to help those in our local community in need of support and to fight poverty and isolation. They provide food parcels, household goods, furniture and appliances but also laptops through their Keep Kids Connected campaign for children who need access to online learning. Over 100 local organisations have been partnering with them so far, including Wimbledon food bank, Merton Mutual Aid, local GPs and many more. This initiative was created by a few AFC Wimbledon fans but hundreds of fans and non-fans alike have joined since.
