In the past 6 months, we have all been reminded that time waits for no man (or woman,) so many of us have found ourselves bringing our services online.
For Girls into Coding, Community Interest Company (CIC) founded by Mother & Daughter Duo Helene & Avye, this meant making their technology workshops for girls virtual.
To maintain the hands-on aspect during the workshops, Avye designed kits that were posted to participants prior to the event. Whilst this took a little more work than usual, feedback from the girls and their parents made it all worth it, and these adaptations will suffice until they can safely get back to physical events.
Although they cannot wait to get back to face-to-face events, Avye and Helene noted that the event was a great success, and invite you to read more about it here. Additionally, if you are a girl aged 10-14 or know one who might be interested in the next Girls Into Coding event on 27th September, click here to book a spot today. Spaces are limited!
