The Wimbledon Community Centre was run by charity Wimbledon Community Association (WCA,) and remained a big part of the local community from 1955 until 2012. Below, we share the story of how Wimbledon Community Centre came about, and how online community hub Wimblecomm is continuing its legacy of connecting local people with places and their passions.
