The Walk & Talk Movement Bringing People Together on Saturday Mornings in Wimbledon Park

Ali Palmer joins 75 stories to discuss how the Walk and Talk movement sees local people in Merton come together in Wimbledon Park on a Saturday morning. Having seen people walk around the park by themselves during the Covid-19 pandemic, Andy (one of the organisers) wanted to find a way to bring people together again in a safe and inclusive way. Since its launch, the Walk and Talk movement has given people the opportunity to meet their neighbours and connect with one another in a physical space.

Join them every Saturday morning at 10.30am by the café in Wimbledon Park if you want to get involved. Also, keep updated on all that they’re doing via their website and Facebook pages. Click here for links to both.

We are delighted to have The Walk and Talk Movement as one of our newest community group members, and will continue to use our Wimblecomm platform to spread the word about this great initiative.
